Purple Star Campus Designation
Marion High School is proud to be recognized by the Texas Education Agency as a Purple Star Campus, a designation awarded to schools that demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families.
As a Purple Star Campus, Marion High School provides resources and programs designed to help military-connected students successfully transition into a new school community, connect with needed support, and feel welcomed throughout their time at MHS. The campus also maintains a designated military liaison who serves as a point of contact for military families.
This recognition reflects Marion ISD’s commitment to ensuring that students whose families serve our country feel supported, connected, and at home in Bulldog Country.

Enrollment & Registration
The following information is provided to assist military families with enrollment and registration.
To ensure prompt enrollment for military-connected students, active duty members of the US Armed Forces, including the National Guard and Reserves, can establish residency for school enrollment by submitting a military order indicating their transfer to a military base within the school’s attendance zone within 90 days of their arrival
